What's on your list of dealbreakers when it comes to romantic relationships?

View 501 Answers

If someone gets clingy. I HATE it when someone starts following me like a kicked puppy. That might be cute in VERY small doses and if he's done something that needs an apology, but someone who can't stand on his own feet and whom I have to babysit? Nogo. I also dislike bad manners and stupidity, but so far I had no reasons to complain in that departement^^

Aside from that, there is the obvious: Abuse, criminal streak, secretely married etc.

I guess I might have a new favorite singer. The names Josh Groban and he has an amazing voice. I found him on YT.
Best thing? I found him singing together with Sarah Brightman!
Two stunning voices performing an extraordinaryly beautiful song. Is it my birthday? =)
I was impressed enough to order 4 CD's on Amazon.com, and I certainly don't regret it. Better investment than going out to party.

Yeah, so I've started reading One Piecce Yaoi again. And I'm sort of searching for ZoLu-scans. Anyone knows any good ones? I'd be glad to get a hint...

1/16/09 06:38 pm - The Catcher in the Rye

Wow, reading my last entry TOTALLY cheered me up. I just finished reading "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger and damn, that was one depressing piece of literature...After reading that basically EVERYTHING depressed the protagonist, my own mood went down as well.
I won't deny that this might be a good book from some people's point of view(my former English-teacher loved the stupid book O.o), but I don't think it'S for me. I'm not into the whole angst genre, anyway.

ut If you like Angst and want to learn how to swear properly, than I recommend this book. Otherwise, spare yourself, it's a pain. -.-

12/10/08 09:53 pm - Just life

Today, while I was doing my homework I just started thinking about life in general (really, it was latin homework, and since I'm rather good at that as long as you don't take away my dictionary, there was still some brain capacity I had to use :-) ).
And I noticed that most of the time, people are either complaining and annoying the people around them with it or something extraordinarily good happened -new love, new car,new something. And I just wondered, why don't we ever pause and just think something like "Hey, today I had an argument with my dad/friend/..., that sucks, but life is still great."? This is something that'S preached so often -being thankful for the little things in life- but hardly anybody ever actually does it.
Well, I can't say I'll suddenly become some sort of saint or superhuman creature who never again will mope about something that angered me. But I recently started to think about things more positively and hey, life is good =)
No mayor changes occurred, I'm still my good old cynical self, but I feel much better than before. I'm still my slightly weird self and have a sense of humor that some people find hard to get. But I have good friends who are the same (our poor surroundings ^-^), I'm doing well at school and I know what I want in my life.
Damn, I'm such a lucky girl, I should just stop and realize it more often.

With that, I shall end this psycho-talk (^.~) that hopefully no-one will ever read and go on watching soccer on TV.

Today is known to some as the Day of Infamy, in commemoration of what happened at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. In your lifetime, what date sticks out as the most memorable in terms of world events?

View 500 Answers

That would probably 9/11, wouldn't it? At least, in my lifetime.
And since I'm not American, when I think of the second world war, it's not Pearl Harbor I think of first but 9th of september 1939.

Are you prepared for a zombie outbreak, or are you just going to wing it?

View 500 Answers

If therewas a Zombie-attack, I'd die and turn a Zombie myself. I don't own a gun nd I'd probably be too scared to run away. If I was able to fight it would be with a zippo and either hair spray or deo.

5/14/08 09:53 pm - 14th of May, 2008

Well I'm really gonna write a diary entry for once... =)
This night I had a reaaaally weird dream:
I was at Disney world and Jack Sparrow (I haven't even WATCHED the movie recently O.o) invited me for a ride on the ghost train. So, I go up there and there is this roller coaster like ride. On the sides there are all kinds of monsters and zombies and I've got to shoot them with...chocolate cake??? The only the only ghastful thing about the monsters though was that ALL of them had a nail in there right eye (*shudder*) Well, at last this was easy to explain, since I watched 'CSI: Miami- "Nailed"' last night. (That's the one where Ryan Wolfe gets shot in the eye with a nail pistol) But for te rest I digged up my old dream interpretation book:

pirate: outlaw, rebel --> what social rules am I trying to go against?
actor: role, desire to be appreciated --> what's my role? Do I feel under-appreciated?
roller coaster: highs and lows, thrill, wild but secure ride --> what sort of changes am I looking for?
chocolate: reward, joy--> Can I let go? To what degree?
cake: reward, weakness? --> Did I own the cake?
shooting---> destruction? What do I want to get rid of? (I this case? some eerie monsters O.o)
monster---> denial, selfd-estruction? ---> Do I fear myself?

I told my friend about the dream and I agree with her opinion:
"You're one crazy little sicko...but don't worry, we like you anyway...btw, how about chocolate cake for our next movie session?^^"
Needless to say, we weren't really doing our history essays like we were supposed to :P

Oh, I needed a break anyway. I had to do give a presentation in during the first two lessen. RE, the ten amendments (joy -.-).
So, I so wasn't sorry when
Mr. G. announced: "Go do numbers 7-13, I have something else to do."
So, we went to the library and had some kaffee klatsch. Somewhere down the road my friend had to do maths, so I strolled through the shelves and "The cather in the rye" happened to catch my eye. My old English-teacher used to go crazy about it, so I decided to take a look.
I'm so going to buy that book! It was goddamn funny!

Next pleasant thing for the day was that my English teacher wasn't in, so I could go home and change before PE. We're doing shot-put right now. Outside. And it's like 28°C outside. In the shade, of course.

Right now, I'm watching the UEFA Cup final. Glasgow Rangers vs. Zenit St. Petersburg. To my immense joy Zenit are winning 1:0 at the moment. There a little over 4 minutes to go. You see, I'm german, that makes me thankful because Zenit basically KICKED ASS against Bayern München in the semi finals. Muahahaha! (As you probably deduced by now, the're not exactly my favorite team. So, I was rooting for Zenit all the way through the game.
The Rangers started to play rather nasty those past few minutes. 3 minutes additional time.
WOAH! That was frigging close. Zenit, don't get careless in the last two minutes!
GO, ZENIT!
2:0 during the last seconds!!!
Yeah, I I love soccer. This sport rocks! I'm going to bed totally happy^^

5/12/08 04:18 pm - How to entertain a bunch of teenagers?

5 Steps to hosting a successful afternoon for your relatives+spouses.

1. Invite your boyfriend, your cousins and your cousins boyfriend over.
2. Usher them into your room.
3. Get them seated.
4. Choose "Pòkemon Puzzle League" , "Pòkemon Stadium (mini games)" or "Mario Tennis" for your old, dusty N64
5. Switch it on.

READY!!!

Your done. This is basically how I've been keeping my cousins and lately the respective boyfriends happy for YEARS. You'd think that we'd grow bored with it, but... That's yet to happen.
Come to think of it, this is somewhat embarrassing ^//^ I mean, we're 17 (x3), 19, and 15...

Since I'm the one who OWNS the N64, I'm the most experienced with the games and am thus banned from playing sooner or later. Not that I mind, It's kinda fun to watch them fighting with the controllers.  ( "There, there, THERE! on the RIGHT! The fire-thingies!!!" "Yo, you PANSY! What kind of fucking ball was THAT, huh???)

If you had to pick a time period to live in, which would you choose? Why?

View 500 Answers

If I could choose a period of time to live in, I'd choose Victorian England, I guess, because I loooooove those dresses :)
On the other hand, today is okay as well. I'd hate to be the one who's always one step behind...

When was the last time you surprised yourself?

View 481 Answers

I recently surprised myself by bein exceptionally kind towards everyone around me. I usually get annoyed and bitchy pretty fast, but since I started taking some valerian pills at night and actually SLEEP I'm getting totally relaxed. I think I'm scaring my friends with my charity. I gave out pancakes to everyone yesterday. Concluding from the looks they gave me I believe they think I'm going nuts :-).

German class. Don't I love it? Seriously, I do like my language classes. But it is SO annoying that I'm the only one who's bothered to actually READ the book we'v been talking about in class for several weeks. And, contray to popular belief, it is not really the nicest of things to be the teacher's pet. Really. Everybody else can just kick back and relax during class an simply "forget" to do their homework. Not me, though. When I'm not prepared Mr. G notices at once. Sorry, girl, not extra-slleping-time for you.

But oh, if only this was the only disadvantage. Not only am I the only student in this class who does her homework, no, now I#m supposed to do the TEACHER'S homework too? Not nice. It's almost not worth the A I'm getting. *sigh* I wish I didn't need it to polish my GPA a little. Fortunately, the book is interesting. I mean, considering it is part of the curriculum. Could be worse. I can still remember Don Carlos *shiver*

Since Mr: G. threatend to collect the homework next lesson, I wonder how many of those fucking lazy idiots  my slightly unmotivated classmates will at least pretend to have worked a little by searchen the internet for information...or asking me if they can copy my stuff. One of these days I'll stop being nice and let them down.

Wich reminds me...is there anyone beside me who heard him when he told us that we'll need to know another book for the exams that are coming up in two weeks? O.o Uh-oh... This can't end well...

MEMO: Tell at least Carla, Thomas and Jaquo about it. The rest may be doomed.

How did you spend Valentine's Day?

View 500 Answers

I spent it like a zombie. Seriously, I've had trouble sleeping for month now and every now and then I'll get a real bad day. It's usually a day that would have been exhausting in itself, without wishing to drop dead in the middle of the classroom. But, seriously? I don't really do Valentine's day. I got my boyfried some chocolate but that was it. I was just happy to crawl into my bed after I finished all my homework and chores and watxh TV for the rest of the evening.

What did you dream about last night?

View 500 Answers

I dreamed about some strange black and whie cartoon-ducks...
It was like I was pushed into the freaky-cartoony version of the Trueman Show (Great movie, btw...need to buy that one on DVD sonner or later). I swear one of these ducks was talking in "advertisement" just like the wife in the movie. That was kind of scary.

But then again, I tend to dream nonsense when I'm sick and right now I'm harbouring a pretty nasty cold. I can't speak at all because all those evil little viruses (don't I love my vivid imagination) are attacking my vocal cords.
My parents are probably enjoying the almost-silence. Just because I can't use my voice doesn't mean I can't handle my CD-player anymore =).

But when you leave out the fact that I'm temporally mute, I'm really good. I'm finally allowed to leave my bed again after all. Not that it was all that bad. I finally, finally brought myself to reading those Terry-Pratchet-books my friend gave my MONTH ago. So far, I've finished "The last continent" and "Pyramids" and have now started "Going postal". "Jingo" is still lying on my shelf. "Wyrd sisters" was the first discworld book I've ever read. I love the witches and the wizards. They are definitely the best ;-) Though Lord Vetinari is catching up really fast. Oh, and Death and Susan are great as well.

Luckily for me my two best friends heve, if you combine their collections, almost every dicworld book existing. So, once I'm through this pile of books, I can go and get a new one. =)
